TWO anarchists arrested last night

Meow everyone, this story is till developing so news is still a bit scarce. Last night, two anarchists from the London Ontario area were arrested and most , if not all the electronic equipment was seized as evidence. The details as to why this took place is as yet unclear so i will not speculate. Here is an article as written by the Toronto media Co-op with credit going to Darryl Richardson as the author of the article  with respects to this arrest.

On an unrelated note, or, is it related , Ron Plain , one of the organizers of the illegal Sarnia railway blockade back in December of 2012 was fined for his role in that illegal action, The report can been seen here and credited to the Toronto Star for breaking the news :

While I don’t like to see people get arrested as this does have a significant impact on their lives in the future, I hope, that these arrests do have enough impact to send a message  to other anarchist wannabe’s to stay the hell away from them and follow the laws like the rest of us.  These anarchists ( and I  am not specifically referring to those two arrested last night )  are nothing but trouble  and eventually, they WILL get caught , arrested and fairly tried.

The image screen shot below is update number two with story credit going to Mike Donachie. interesting in that there was also a rash of graffiti in Toronto around the GE place in the northern end of the city as part of a series of protests revolving around that plant.

So, here is a question to be answered. Is Baily promoting the use of Graffiti as a protest tool ?

Here is an image of the third person arrested, Daniel  Beaudoin

It has been stated across that various chat forums I have seen that these arrests were nothing but a fishing expedition by the police. These three persons are well know and revered within the anarchist community. They are closely connected to them. While on the surface, raiding a place for  graffiti may sound , to the uninformed, as an over reaction, the deeper one looks into the connections and activities of these persons, one can quickly see that they would have detailed knowledge of various anarchist activities in and around their area. Therefore, the seizure of electronic equipment would be fully justified as a valuable tool to learn of future plans or to obtain valuable evidence on past crimes committed by the anarchists.  I am not suggesting that these three were directly involved in the commission of anarchist related crimes, I simply don’t know. I do know , however, that they did know , and very well, most of the most senior anarchists in Ontario. Any means available to law enforcement to get information about anarchists and their plans, is, in my opinion, a good move.

Love the coverage! And CN does not screw around. I know someone who’s son was killed when his truck was hit by a CN train. CN has sued the son’s estate for the damage done as the person killed was at fault. If they are going to sue a dead man then they will have no issue suing activists. I wonder if the non-Natives who encouraged this blockade will chip in to help Plain pay.

Ironically CN is a government owned, union run, company. Exactly what most of these far left activists want all corporations to be.

Hello Hammer and thank you for your comment. I think that these rail blockades are beyond dangerous , stupid as wall as prove and accomplish nothing. In fact, by blockading, they actually HURT their own community, but then these are professional protestors, on ecannot expect then to think rationally and logically. Thank you for your comment.

  2. Bit of an overreaction to graffitti and marijuana, don’t you think?

Hello Anon and thank you for your comment. I disagree as to this being an over reaction at all. I think that there is a very strong anarchist community in that region and while I am not privy as to the involvement of the three persons arrested, they certainly have close connections to these violent and dangerous anarchists. Therefore, if these arrests yeild good information of these anarchists, I think it is was good police work . The courts will decide the strength of the case, however, not you or I . Thank you for your comment.

  3. So you think street art is “violence”? Really?

Hello again Anon, I do think that graffiti is vandalism. We all end up paying for it through higher insurance costs that are passed on to us. Higher costs mean higher unemployment, lower quality just to name a few things. Property damage IS a crime and vandalism is property damage. Would YOU like if some punks came over to YOUR house and started to spray paint crap all over your walls? i HIGHLY doubt you would be pleased to see that. Thank you for your comment.

I think this whole thing was a shakedown by the police. Basically they are hunting for intelligence on this group. Police get nothing from the courts but gain valuable information for future crimes. It is a common police strategy when dealing with known criminal organizations.

Hello Hammer and thank you for your comment. It may well be a ” shakedown ” , however, since these persons are known to be connected to the anarchist movement, I think that any means that information can be gathered on the anarchists is fine and I have no issues with that. These anarchists have , for a very long time done nothing but destroy and smash everything in their wake, they are admitted terrorists in my opinion and frankly, any possible means that can put a stop to their activities is god police work in my opinion. Thank you for your comment.
